General Adventure Information

Which activities are included in your adventure depends on which adventure you have chosen. Possible activities are hiking, canyoning, rock climbing, rope-swinging, zip-lining, adventure parks, slack-lining, bungee jumping, mountaineering, diving, cycling, caving, 4×4 & buddy tours, sightseeing and paintballing. To find out which activities are included in your adventure, check out your activity via Individual adventures.

It is often possible to alter your adventure to suit your preferences. Optional activities are hiking, canyoning, rock climbing, rope-swinging, zip-lining, adventure parks, slack-lining, bungee jumping, mountaineering, diving, cycling, caving, 4×4 & buddy tours, sightseeing and paintball. What is possible depends on the adventure you have chosen. Additional fees are charged for extra activities. Please contact us to discuss your preferences and the possibilities.

Many of our activities are suitable for children. However, for some of the activities a minimum age is required. You can check the minimum age for your adventure by checking out your event via Individual adventures. Please note that children under 15 years old need to be accompanied by an adult who accepts responsibility for them at all times by signing the “knowledge of risk” form.

Our company has over 10 years of experience in organising the adventures we provide. Professional guides and lifeguards are present during all the adventures we offer. Our guides are trained according to the international and European standards of the EN, NFPA and UIAA. A first aid kit is brought on all trips. Helmets and life jackets are provided by the company when needed for specific adventures.

Not all adventures include jumps and rappelling. Find out what activities your adventure includes in the event details via Individual adventures. When included, rappelling is always compulsory in order to continue the route. We also offer a range of adventures where rappelling is not included, so you can chose another adventure if rappelling does not suit your taste. Jumps are (often) optional. Other ways down are usually possible to avoid jumping. For specific questions about the height of rappelling and jumping, you can always contact us.

In the event details of the adventures (via Individual adventures) the fitness level for the adventure is stated: Easy, Moderate or Challenging. “Easy” adventures are suitable for everyone. “Moderate” and “Challenging” levels are used to indicate those adventures which have physically demanding activities or which have a route around 8-10km or more. None of our adventures require specific skills or experience. You can easily check the length of the trip and the activities included in the event details. If you doubt about your fitness level, feel free to contact us to provide you with personal advice.

How many people depends on the adventure. The maximum amount of people is determined by the activities included in the adventure, the valley, the capacity per guide for this specific trip and the difficulty of the program. Usually the group size varies between 20 and 50 persons (depending on the adventure and the demand). If preferred, there is always the possibility to join our adventures in a smaller group. Contact us to ask about the possibilities.

If food is provided during the activity, it is always included in the price. Usually breakfast and either lunch or dinner is provided during the trip. To find out what meals are included in your adventure, take a look at the event description via Individual adventures.

It depends on the adventure what food will be served. To find out what food will be served in your adventure, take a look at the event description via Individual adventures. Breakfast usually consist of turkey or falafel sandwiches.

Please let us know when you book your adventure about any dietary restrictions you have. We can definitely accommodate vegetarians for all meals. If you have another dietary restriction or have a specific allergy, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate it.

Booking or Cancelling an Adventure

Yes, a reservation is needed in order to provide you with a complete trip and fun experience.

You can make a reservation by calling to AdventurePROS (0790043191 – 0795734114 – 0786266099 – 0775143660) or coming to our office. Our contact details are stated on our Contact page. Your reservation is finalized once you completed the payment for your adventure.

In order to make your reservation we need the full names (first name and surname) of the persons you make a reservation for, your mobile phone number, the number of males and females in your group, the wadi you would like to go to and the date you want to go. We will also ask you for your preferred payment method and the date you will pay. Your reservation is finalized only once payment is received.

It is suggested to book your adventure at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise we cannot guarantee the adventure is still available. For trips taking place on Saturday, booking your adventure on Thursday at latest is recommended. If you would like to book an adventure last minute, please call and we can try to accommodate you.

Yes, this is possible, but you can only change your adventure up until 24 hours before the start of your adventure. Within the 24 hours before your adventure starts, you can no longer change your adventure, but you still have the possibility to cancel your adventure. However, if you cancel your adventure within the 24 hours previous to the event, you can only be partially refunded, as the company reserves the right to retain a percentage of the sum already paid for the ticket.

If for any reason you are no longer able to join the adventure, you can cancel your reservation up to 24 hours before the start of the trip. In the case you cancel the reservation within the 24 hours previous to the event, the company reserves the right to retain a percentage of the sum already paid for the ticket.

You can cancel your adventure by calling our office within opening hours, at least 24 hours before the trip starts. Sending us an e-mail or text message is also possible, however, we cannot guarantee you we will read your message at least 24 hours before the trip starts. Cancelling your trip at least 24 hours before the adventure starts is needed in order to receive a full refund. Therefore calling us is the preferred way of cancellation.

You can cancel your reservation up to 24h before the start of the trip. In case you cancel the reservation in the 24h previous to the event, the company reserves the right to retain a percentage of the sum already paid for the ticket.

In the  event of a cancellation the company can refund you the entire amount of the ticket if you cancel the adventure at least 24 hours before the adventure starts. If you cancel the adventure within the 24 hours previous to the event, you can only be partially refunded, as the company reserves the right to retain a percentage of the sum already paid for the ticket.

Cost and Payment

The costs of the adventure vary per adventure. The price of the trip can be found in the event details via Destinations. For tailor-made trips, information about the price can be requested by contacting us.

In general transportation, meals, water, a refreshment, first aid, a guide, and (when needed) a helmet and lifejacket are included. To find out what is included for your adventure, check the event description of your adventure via Destinations.

We ask that you pay for your adventure at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that the reservation is confirmed only at the moment of payment. We cannot guarantee your spot if you have reserved your adventure only by phone or e-mail. We will prioritize people who confirmed their trip by paying the ticket price at our office or by another payment method.

You can pay for your adventure by passing by our office: Office 306 (3rd floor), Ayman Al Malkh building, Ibn Al Fata Str. Al Rawnaq, In front of The Jett Bus Station, 7th Circle. P.O. Box 4626 Amman 11953 Jordan. Please note that it is NOT possible to pay by card.

Unfortunately we do not accept payments by card. Only cash payments are accepted.

In case you are not able to come to our office to make your payment, you have the following options: transfer the money at Western Union bank, transfer the money online to our account at the Arab bank or make your payment via Paypal. Contact us for details about these payment methods.

Yes, you are asked to pay the whole amount of your reservation at once. However, if you made a reservation for a group larger than 10 persons, it is possible to pay 50% upon reservation confirmation and the other 50% on the morning of your adventure.

In no case are group discounts possible for groups smaller than 10 people. In case your group is bigger than 10 people you can contact us to find out about the options. Discounts are never possible for adventures to Wadi Hidan.

Going on an Adventure

The meeting point for the adventures is close to 7th circle, just around the corner of the AdventurePROS office (Office 306 (3rd floor), Ayman Al Malkh building, Ibn Al Fata Str. Al Rawnaq, In front of The Jett Bus Station, 7th Circle. P.O. Box 4626 Amman). You can find us in front of Java Lava Café and Caldo, where our buses are parked.

It depends on the adventure you have chosen what you need to bring. You can check this information in the event description of your adventure, via Destinations. In general you need to bring sunglasses, a hat, sun block, dry clothes for after your hike (in case of hiking in the water) and a backpack (which may get wet). You should wear walking or running shoes (you do not need to bring professional canyoning shoes).

In general the answer is “yes”, as many of our adventures include hiking and/or swimming through water. It depends on the adventure you have chosen whether it is possible to keep your belongings dry during the adventure or not. You have the possibility to leave belongings on the bus, such as your extra set of clothing and any valuables. It is highly recommended that you plan on leaving your phone at home or on the bus because anything brought into the canyon has a high chance of getting wet. A photographer will be on every trip so you do not need to take your own pictures. 

It is recommended that you arrive at the meeting point in the clothes you plan on wearing during the adventure. If it is indicated in the program of your adventure that you will visit Adventure City (see event details via Destination), you will have to opportunity to use the facilities there to change or refresh yourself. In all other cases, you will have the opportunity to change on the bus (men and women separated) after the adventure but no bathroom facilities are available. 

Unfortunately there will be no possibility to shower after your adventure, as (most of) our adventures take place in nature/valleys where no facilities are present.

After my Adventure

The pictures of your adventure will be published on the AdventurePROS facebook page. It will be in an album titled with the name of the adventure and the date of the trip.

We do understand that you want to see the pictures of you adventure as soon as possible and we try our best to help you with this. We ask you to be patient for at least 7-10 days, as it will take time to process and upload all of the pictures.

No, this is not possible with the standard photographer included in your adventure package. However, it is always possible to request a private photographer who will join you on the adventure, to capture the adventurous moments of you and your family/friends for an additional 75 JDs. Contact us to receive more information about this possibility and the option to receive your pictures without text and/or logos.

If you lost something during the trip in one of the valleys, it is not possible for us to find it. However if you lost something in the bus on your way to or from the adventure, you can contact us. In that case we will contact the bus company to see if they have found your missing object.
